Session 2: Technology and innovation – theory

Florian Reichle studied finance and management at Free University of Berlin and School of Economics and Management in Lund, Sweden. After his graduation, he collaborated with leading mechanical engineers at International Business School ESCP Europe, researching the reorganisation of industrial value chains and the reintegration of customers.   Together with two graduated physicists, he co-founded 3D printing startup trinckle 3D in 2012. He manages the company’s operational business and is also responsible for marketing. trinckle 3D offers a simple online-based access to 3D printing, providing a 3D printing service and a marketplace for the exchange of designs. These products are based on a self-developed geometry processing software that automatically checks for printability and allows to repair and customise models. This software solution can also be implemented as a Saas on customers’ websites.
